Salary AUD130,000 - AUD140,000 per annum + Attractive salary packageOur client is searching for a tenured Project Management Accountant to spearhead the financial management of their Australian Battery Energy Storage Systems.

It is crucial that this professional wants to contribute to transformative energy projects, take ownership of financial processes and be part of a mission to create a sustainable future.Your roleAs a Project Management Accountant, your responsibilities will span various critical functions, including cash flow management, where you will ensure timely supplier payments, precise invoicing and maintain comprehensive cash flow forecasts.You will lead the delivery of financial reporting, preparing and presenting monthly and quarterly project accounts, variance analysis and statutory financial statements that align with Group Finance requirements.
Your expertise will extend to managing project accounting, such as revenue recognition, capitalisation policies and statutory compliance, including GST and audits.Additionally, you will oversee and manage the budgeting and re-forecasting processes, ensuring they reflect project schedules and Group expectations, while also developing work flows to transition development projects seamlessly into the construction phase.What you will bringCPA/CA certifiedMinimum five years in financial management within renewable energy, oil and gas or complex engineering/construction projectsAbility to clearly articulate financial matters to diverse stakeholdersEnsures accuracy and quality in financial reporting and reconciliationsAdvanced Excel skills and familiarity with project systems like QuickBooks, NetSuite or AconexWhat the company offersA chance to shape the financial future of transformative renewable energy projectsOpportunities to grow within a dynamic and rapidly expanding industryA collaborative environment where your expertise will directly impact project success#J-18808-Ljbffr
