The Role At Infinite Aged Care, Housekeeping Assistants play a critical role in providing quality housekeeping and cleaning services which focus on infection control and ensure a safe and healthy living environment for residents.
Working closely with the Facility Manager and the Hotel Services Team Leader, you will be responsible for cleaning resident rooms and common areas as well as providing laundry services and generally ensuring that residents' daily needs are met.
This role is a physical one, requiring bending, squatting, lifting, and pushing items to carry out daily tasks safely.
It is important that you can perform these tasks without risk of injury to yourself, your colleagues, and our residents.
About You Compassionate and customer service-oriented, you are a strong communicator and problem solver who 'thinks on your feet', builds supportive relationships, and strives for the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and order within the facility.

You do not need experience in the aged care sector, but you must align with our philosophy and values, possess strong communication skills, be computer literate, and have a commitment to resident wellbeing, as well as the following:
Demonstrated cleaning experience is desirable.Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.Ability to problem solve, work with limited supervision, and 'think on your feet'.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Hardworking, flexible, with good availability to cover shifts.Adopt a safety-first approach to daily tasks and support colleagues at all times.Who are we? You will also need to hold a current NDIS clearance and/or be happy to apply.
