We're seeking a visionary Chief Operations Officer (COO) to lead our administration team, support our volunteer committee, and drive the strategic direction of our club.

Inspire & Lead: Manage a dynamic team of 4+ staff and oversee diverse portfolios, including HR, marketing, compliance, and member programs.Shape the Future: Collaborate with the management committee to develop and execute strategic plans that align with our mission and goals.Foster Excellence: Drive high-performance culture across lifesaving operations, youth development, and community initiatives.Strengthen Connections: Build strong relationships with stakeholders, sponsors, government agencies, and Surf Life Saving Queensland.Ensure Operational Success: Oversee financial planning, governance, and compliance to future-proof our club.What Makes You the Perfect Fit?You're a results-driven leader with a track record of delivering operational excellence and inspiring teams to achieve big goals.
You bring:
Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead people, manage change, and execute strategy.Financial Expertise: Strong budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management skills.Strategic Vision: A knack for creating and executing innovative strategies to meet organisational goals.People Skills: Exceptional relationship-building abilities to unite volunteers, staff, and stakeholders.Passion for Purpose: A deep connection to community, youth development, and lifesaving values.Bonus Skills:Experience with Xero accounting software.Knowledge of Surf Life Saving frameworks and governance.What Success Looks LikeIn your first 12 months, you'll:
