Join Talent International as an EL2 Director Finance Business Partner
Location : Surry Hills, Sydney Contract Duration : 6 months with the possibility of extension Daily Rate : $754.20/day + Super Work Hours : 7.6 hours/day | 38 hours/week About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled EL2 Director Finance Business Partner (Professional Stream) to join a Federal Government client.
This pivotal leadership role involves managing complex financial functions, projects, and work programs that have strategic and operational significance.
With significant independence, decision-making authority, and judgment, you'll partner with internal and external stakeholders to provide high-level financial advice and drive strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Act as a trusted partner to teams, providing expert technical and general accounting and finance advice.
Shape and influence financial strategies, policies, priorities, and operational practices.
Lead the preparation of written materials, including briefs, reports, discussion papers, and input to the Agency Financial Strategic Plan .
Oversee and manage highly complex or sensitive finance functions and projects, identifying emerging problems and risks.
Offer strategic and operational expertise across core financial functions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Represent the Finance Business Partner (FBP) portfolio on sensitive or complex matters to a diverse range of stakeholders.
Provide high-level financial advice to management, the Executive Leadership Team , and the Board, maintaining a strong knowledge of core financial functions.
What You Bring to the Role: Proven ability to provide strategic financial and policy expertise, with experience in developing financial strategies and operational practices.
Demonstrated skills in managing complex finance functions and identifying emerging risks.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience representing financial portfolios to diverse audiences.
Exceptional ability to prepare and oversee critical documentation, including briefs and strategic plans.
