The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines. During early 2024, we became a Project Office within the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA), joining sister projects including the Metro Tunnel Project, Level Crossing Removal Project, West Gate Tunnel Project and Major Road Projects Victoria led by Director-General, Kevin Devlin.
The opportunity Newly created roleOpportunity to deliver tangible community impactEnjoy a balance of remote & in-person collaborationIn this newly created role you will lead the management and implementation of a managing contractor contract for the Warrnambool Base Hospital Redevelopment Project. This senior role will involve leading a high-performing, multi-disciplinary team, integrating various project requirements, including engineering, cost management, constructability, and stakeholder relations.
Key responsibilities include: Confidently representing VHBA in negotiations with contractorsResolving complex issues through consultationProviding expert advice and delivering technical reportsManaging stakeholder relationships and influencing project outcomesPlease note, you'll be travelling to Warrnambool for regular project meetings.
