Job Title: ERP Systems & Data Consultant (Contract: 6-12 months)
Location: Burwood, Sydney
Contract Duration: 6 to 12 months
About Us:
We are a dynamic property development and construction company operating in the UK and Australia.
We are currently implementing NetSuite as our ERP system and Precoro for procurement management.
We're seeking a skilled ERP Systems & Data Consultant to support the successful rollout of these systems and ensure seamless data transition and setup.
This contract role will collaborate with our internal teams and external software consultants to drive the successful implementation, customization, and integration of our systems.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced ERP Systems & Data Consultant who will act as the main liaison between our business teams and the external software consultants for NetSuite and Precoro .
This role will involve both system administration and data analysis , with the goal of ensuring that the data migration, system setup, and configuration meet the needs of our business.
Candidates with a background in the construction industry or property development will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
System Implementation & Setup: Collaborate with the internal team and external consultants to assist in the implementation of NetSuite ERP and Precoro .
Configure the system to align with business workflows, including financials, procurement, subcontractor management, and project costing.
Work with NetSuite consultants and Precoro specialists to ensure all project deliverables are met on time.
Data Transition & Migration: Oversee and execute the data migration process, ensuring accurate and complete transition of financial data, procurement information, and historical records.
Cleanse and prepare data for import into NetSuite and Precoro .
Assist in the creation of data mapping documentation and ensure seamless integration with existing systems.
System Administration: Manage day-to-day system administration tasks, including user setup, permission configurations, and troubleshooting.
Monitor system performance post-implementation and work closely with consultants to address any issues.
Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams, external consultants, and other stakeholders throughout the implementation process.
Provide input on system configuration based on business needs, including the management of subcontractor contracts, retentions, and variations, as well as compliance with CIS (UK) and TPAR (Australia) regulations.
Assist with setting up dashboards and reports within NetSuite and Power BI for real-time business insights.
Testing & User Training: Conduct testing of systems to ensure all workflows, customizations, and data migrations are functioning as expected.
Provide user training and support to staff to ensure successful adoption of the systems.
Ongoing Support: Support post-implementation optimization , making adjustments and improvements based on user feedback and business needs.
Document processes, procedures, and system configurations for future reference.
Key Qualifications:
Experience with ERP Systems: Minimum of 3-5 years experience with ERP implementation (preferably NetSuite or other cloud-based systems).
Familiarity with procurement systems like Precoro or similar platforms.
Industry Experience: A background in the construction industry or property development is highly preferred.
Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows.
Experience managing financial data migration and ensuring accounting accuracy across ERP systems.
Data Migration Expertise: Experience with data cleansing , data mapping , and migration processes .
Ability to work with large datasets and ensure smooth data transition into new systems.
Technical & Analytical Skills: Strong skills in data analysis and understanding of business processes.
Experience with Power BI or similar reporting/analytics tools is highly desirable.
Knowledge of SQL , SuiteScript (NetSuite), or API integrations is a plus.
Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage system implementation projects with multiple stakeholders.
Proven experience in meeting project deadlines and managing system-related deliverables.
Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
Collaborate with a dynamic team and lead the way in advanced ERP and data management.
