Training And Quality Assurance Officer

We are seeking a Training and Quality Assurance Officer to join People Services, Administrative Division.
The Training and Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for designing, delivering and implementing quality assurance, coaching, knowledge management and training activities.
These activities will support HiQ staff to continuously develop their knowledge and capabilities, contributing to the continuous improvement of the HiQ service.
The role also contributes to initiatives across Student Engagement that involve the training and development of staff.

HiQ is the university's contact point for members of the public, staff, prospective and current student enquiries and support services.
Services to students and staff include general information, IT support, Library, and student administration.
Engagement with future students and their orientation to the QUT student experience is a core focus of Student Engagement.
The Engagement team is responsible for delivering co-curricular programs that further build QUT's sense of community and support students to develop their professional identity, networks, and employability.
What you need to succeed Education, training and or experience equivalent to a degree with subsequent relevant experience in the development and delivery of training, staff development and quality assurance.Demonstrated high level digital literacy skills including the ability to produce training materials for a multi-channel service delivery area.Demonstrated experience supervising a high performing team in a high-volume, fast paced, multi-channel service delivery environment.Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to explain complex concepts, present information in an engaging manner, respond to learner needs and deliver constructive feedback.Strong analytical skills to inform process improvement.High level of initiative, with the ability to reflect, seek and respond to feedback in order to continuously improve.Life at QUT We're committed to building a culture that fosters connection between people and purpose.
