About the Role Our award winning, peer and industry recognised Sydney Banking and Finance practice is growing and we are looking for a talented lawyer with 4-7 yrs PQE to join the practice.
Whilst the work will be generated by our Sydney partners, you could be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane where you would sit with the Banking & Finance teams in those offices.
Our core strengths are in Property & Construction Finance, Corporate Finance, Acquisition & Leveraged Finance and Project Finance and you will have the opportunity to: work directly with market leading Banking & Finance Partners; work in a close and collegial team environment on complex and sophisticated matters; work autonomously with plenty of direct client and relationship contact on matters; participate in a structured learning and development program tailored to your level of experience and desired career path; enjoy the benefits of 'one on one' mentoring with a Partner who is focused on your career, development and well-being and to genuinely have clear opportunities for promotion and advancement in a firm that is growing and making up Partners; supervise and be involved in the training and development of more junior colleagues; play to your strengths, in particular if you pride yourself as being a great draftsperson or technician or if you have great relationship and business development skills; and enjoy a great work / life balance, with all of the Partners in our team having young children of their own and understanding the importance of life outside of work.
About you We are particularly interested in hearing from Australian and New Zealand qualified Senior Associates with experience gained in any one or more of the abovementioned areas of Banking & Finance law and would love to hear from anyone seeking a return to Australia from anywhere in the world.
