When it comes to protecting vulnerable children from abuse, Barnardos is dedicated to the prevention of trauma in children, and support families to be the best parents they can be.
Barnardos help children to recover and thrive through an extensive range of Safety and Prevention programs, and when needed find safe homes for them through foster care and open adoption.
Benefits and Culture Flexible hours (work between 8 am to 6 pm) Flexible working arrangements, work from home two days a week Commitment to professional development, training, and learning The Role Reporting to and, working closely with the Senior Manager, Grants & Foundations, you will develop and implement strategies that align with Barnardos' mission and goals and drive revenue growth.
As the Trusts & Foundations Manager, you will be responsible for securing vital funding through relationships with trusts, foundations, and other grant-making bodies.
Your primary focus will be on securing and managing strategic relationships, writing compelling grant proposals, and ensuring timely and effective reporting on grant outcomes.
Skills Required You have a background in communications or fundraising and experience with grant writing and submissions to trusts and foundations, stewarding key relationships and an awareness of the Australian philanthropic landscape.
Your experience also includes: Implementation of income-raising strategies to successfully deliver against revenue targets Translation of program logic and activities into compelling grant applications Researching trusts and foundations or philanthropic donors Ability to communicate and effectively influence at all levels If you're a skilled communications or fundraising professional with successful grant writing experience and you are eager to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families, we encourage you to apply.
