About the Role We're looking for an experienced and client-orientated Senior Professional Indemnity Underwriter to join our motivated underwriting team in Sydney for a January 2025 start or earlier if available
This role will see responsibility for:
Development of business opportunities within the Professional Indemnity segmentManage a Professional Indemnity portfolioThe portfolio will consist of a large number of accountants, engineers, real estate agents, and Design & Construction professionalsCommunicate DUAL's underwriting appetite to broking partnersDeveloping and maintaining broker relationshipsAnalyse and approve referrals for junior staffContribute to the training and development of underwriting staffIf you are currently a Professional Indemnity Underwriter who is looking to make their next career move, we would love to hear from you

About You You'll be a motivated and experienced professional indemnity insurance professional looking to join our hard-working Underwriting team in Sydney.
You will have a strong understanding of professional indemnity insurance and be client oriented.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate confidence in managing multiple clients including both renewals and new business, be comfortable providing training, mentorship and coaching to fellow staff as well as presenting to external clients.
Your communication skills and passion for quality service allow you to effectively build and maintain successful relationships and manage service standards by timely response to broker requests.
