Following the continued growth and success of the business, Zenviron are currently seeking an experienced Safety Advisor to support the delivery of a large-scale Battery Storage Energy System (BESS) project located near Morwell VIC.
If you are an experienced and driven Safety Advisor, who wants to be a part of key growth across the renewables sector, come and join the inclusive and high performing Zenviron team.
Key Responsibilities Providing HSE advice and support to the project team Conducting HSE audits, inspections, investigations and training/awareness sessions Upholding and communicating HSE standards, taking action to ensure 'The Safe Way is The Only Way' and implementing strategies to improve HSE performance Assisting with the implementation of the HSE Management System and maintaining HSE registers Liaising and providing support to the project to ensure compliance with relevant HSE laws, regulations, company policies and guidelines What We Are Looking For Australian recognised tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety Environmental qualifications (highly regarded) 5+ years' experience in similar HSE site-based roles within the renewables/infrastructure or construction sector, ideally coordinating subcontractors Well established knowledge of HSE legislation and industry standards with an in-depth knowledge of Principal Contractor duties Formal training in incident investigation methodology (e.g.
ICAM, Taproot) Intermediate user of MS Office Suite to accurately assemble, maintain and document quality records and accurate reports Demonstrated proactive attitude toward HSE and procedural compliance Well-developed written communication skills Well versed in modern behavioural safety and culture-based programs Proof of right to work in Australia To be successful in this role you will require well-developed interpersonal skills to assist you in building effective stakeholder relationships both internally and externally, whilst you will demonstrate a team orientated approach to work and commitment to continuous improvement.
Through utilising your time management skills you will have the ability to manage multiple aspects of work concurrently, and for this we offer an attractive remuneration package.
