The opportunity: As the Manager - Landholder Relations, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that Powerlink's development, construction, and maintenance activities are aligned with community expectations and regulatory requirements, while contributing to the company's social license to operate.
You'll lead a specialist team in facilitating land access arrangements for our corridors and easements.
You will also:
Lead and drive strategic landholder engagement across all project stages and asset lifecycles, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
Manage and mitigate risks while delivering projects and operational objectives on time and within budget.
Lead, coach, and develop the Landholder Relations team, fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
Represent Powerlink in community consultations and resolve complex landholder issues with a focus on sustainable outcomes.
Implement and uphold safety practices, continuously improving safety performance across Powerlink's operations.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure land access requirements are met while maintaining strong, positive relationships with landholders.
What you'll bring: Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and guide a team of professionals and support staff, in the technical and professional requirements of landholder relations, who may be engaged in both field and office based environments.
Proven experience leading teams and managing stakeholder relationships in the context of infrastructure projects, particularly in landholder relations.
Expertise in applying relevant legislation related to land, property, and infrastructure acquisition in Queensland.
Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to manage complex landholder issues effectively.
