Your new opportunity:
In your new role as the Director, you will play a key leadership role in delivering and coordinating large-scale projects and programs and provide advice and strategic support administered by the Coordinator General.
You will be part of a connected, accountable, courageous, impactful and nimble team that is committed to cultural engagement with our Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islander people and championing change so Queenslanders can expect a better life now and for future generations.
In this role, you will: Lead and deliver complex, diverse government projects to stimulate economic growth. Collaborate with stakeholders to negotiate strategic outcomes. Provide strategic advice, support senior executive leadership, and facilitate effective governance. Manage project portfolios, ensuring compliance and risk management. Champion cultural engagement and diversity, fostering a positive and innovative team culture. What experience you will bring: Exceptional leadership and team culture development skills. Strategic, critical thinking and strong communication abilities. Proven stakeholder engagement and complex negotiation skills. Political and business acumen with a high degree of integrity. Experience in driving outcomes and managing ambiguity through systems thinking. Whilst there are no mandatory qualifications needed for this role, relevant qualifications will be highly regarded.
This position will be transitioning to the Department of State Development and Infrastructure in the near future. How to apply:
