About the roleWe are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team at McKay Plumbing Pty Ltd. in Heidelberg West, Victoria.
As our Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our plumbing and building services organisation.
This is a full-time position based in our office.
What you'll be doing Accurately estimating the cost of materials, labour, and other expenses for plumbing and building projectsConducting site visits and measurements to gather the necessary information for estimatingPreparing detailed cost proposals and submitting them to clientsCollaborating with the project management team to ensure estimates align with project scope and timelinesMaintaining a database of pricing information and updating it regularlyIdentifying opportunities to improve the estimating process and implement cost-saving measuresProviding exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with clientsWhat we're looking for Minimum 3 years of experience as an Estimator in the plumbing or building services industryStrong understanding of plumbing materials, labour costs, and industry regulationsExcellent mathematical and analytical skills to accurately calculate project costsProficient in using estimating software and spreadsheet applications like Ground Plan & SimproEffective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team membersAttention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlinesRelevant qualifications in plumbing, building, or a related field would be highly regardedWhat we offerAt McKay Plumbing, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
