We are seeking an experienced Technical Director to lead our mine waste and tailings management projects across Australia.
This is a key leadership role that requires strong technical expertise, business acumen, and project management skills.
As a Technical Director, you will be responsible for providing technical direction and guidance to project teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality consulting services to clients.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in civil or mining engineering, with significant experience working on tailings and mine waste related projects.
They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
About the Role Provide technical direction and guidance to project teams Lead multi-disciplinary project teams on local, regional, and international consulting assignments Develop and maintain effective client relationships Identify and pursue new business opportunities Mentor and develop staff in the regional team About You Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mining Engineering or similar Minimum 25 years of experience working on tailings/mine waste related projects Strong technical expertise and business acumen Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and within multi-disciplinary project teams What We Offer A competitive salary: $180,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on experience A comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and superannuation The opportunity to work on challenging and complex projects with a leading global consultancy A collaborative and dynamic work environment Ongoing professional development and training opportunities How to Apply If you are a motivated and experienced professional looking for a new challenge, please submit your application, including your resume and a cover letter outlining your experience and qualifications.
