The RoleWe are currently looking to appoint the ISC Ocean Lead who will be based in Melbourne and oversee our Australia and New Zealand cluster.This leadership role is full-time and will own the overall responsibility of the ISC development for the cluster. The ISC product portfolio includes order management, freight management and supply chain analytics for ocean freight. The role will report directly into the ANZ Head of Ocean, and actively interface with Intercontinental Supply Chain (ISC) teams.This is a superb opportunity to advance your career with a global brand in a collaborative environment.Key Accountabilities:Ownership and leadership of the ANZ cluster for ISC solutionsContinuous development and enhancements to the ISC network, capacity and structure within ANZCollaborate with Key Account Managers and Sales to drive ISC growth for customersUnderstand ANZ cluster ISC market trends and translate to strategic product developmentEngage with stakeholders to deliver communication updates, training and continuous educationDefine and develop new segments for the ISC productsExecute and support regional ISC strategyAbout YouInternational ocean freight experience in order management and freight managementSound knowledge of the ANZ ocean market and related products and operating proceduresProven leadership skills with the ability to define and execute a company strategyStrong change management and project management skillsWell-developed conflict resolution, negotiation and problem-solving skillsAbility to lead, inspire and develop teamsUniversity degree in logistics, business management, or a similar fieldOur offerComputers and Electronics: Being part of DB Schenker means you and your family can take advantage of special discounts on a wide range of Computer & Electronic products and services with Apple, Dell, Samsung & LG.Novated Leasing: Novated Leasing is an Employee Benefit designed for Employees of Schenker Australia to buy and own a motor vehicle under a leasing agreement with FleetPartners, our preferred Novated Leasing provider.
