We pride ourselves on our 'small firm personality, big firm capability' - meaning we are big enough to challenge you with interesting and diverse clients, but small enough to help you grow and reach your individual goals.This is an exciting opportunity for an Audit Senior looking to join an established Audit team with great clients who are embarking on a period of change.Reporting directly to a supportive and down-to-earth manager in a friendly culture where we live by our Culture Principles including "Work Hard, Go Home."ResponsibilitiesTo be successful in the role you will:Demonstrate a sound understanding of accounting and audit principles.Identify issues to be brought to the attention of more senior team members; e.g. manager letter points.Have a sound understanding of business structures and their purpose.Complete some ad-hoc tasks and small non-complex engagements reporting directly to Manager, Clients Director or Partner.Complete small to medium size engagements with appropriate supervision and be able to report directly to senior members of the team.Communicate clearly to clients on audit engagements.Produce quality accounting and audit related work and advice with review as required.Demonstrate a sound understanding of the client's business while contributing and assisting senior team members in ad-hoc advisory projects and engagements.Apply a basic level of business acumen to a client's business environment.Review the work of Junior Advisors and provide constructive feedback in a positive manner.Desired Skills and ExperienceMinimum of 4 years of external audit experience gained primarily within Public Accounting.Proven ability to cultivate and build positive business relationships.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.We offer a competitive salary package, generous study support for CA qualifications, genuine career development opportunities, regular training and development to support your career path, and a supportive social and professional work environment.Work-life balance is encouraged through the social club, monthly drinks, team building activities, EOFY party, Melbourne cup function, and all-day Christmas party.
