You are a self-motivated Paraplanner looking to join a dynamic team committed to providing the highest quality financial advice and wealth management services.

As a market leading advice firm, we have a focus on direct investment and a specialty in self-managed superannuation.
We have no bank or fund manager ownership to create potential conflicts of interest and we pride ourselves on providing quality financial advice driven by strategy - not product.
With access to direct assets (full service stockbroking license, wholesale fixed interest desk, wide approved product list) and an unrestricted insurance offering we are free to develop tailored financial solutions that truly suit individual client needs.
Core responsibilities Provide expert technical support to a team of 15 financial advisersPerform financial modelling to explore and illustrate strategy outcomes using Xplan and ExcelProduce high quality Statement of AdviceContribute to quality assurance and compliance initiativesContribute to the ongoing development of peers and junior professional staffSkills & experience At least five years experience in a paraplanning, financial adviser or related roleStrong technical competence across investments, superannuation, wealth creation, personal risk insurance, estate planning and Centrelink PLUS the ability to apply that knowledge to creating dynamic financial strategiesExcellent creative writing and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in simple plain English termsExcellent attention to detail and the ability to generate accurate, logical and easy to understand written documents such as Statements of AdviceCompetence in use of financial modelling software (Xplan an advantage), Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc) and a bit of general IT savvyMature time and desk management skillsQualifications RG146 / FASEA qualified with appropriate degreeAmbition to continued professional growth through further tertiary studies (CFP, Masters) would be highly regardedPersonal attributes Genuine commitment to put the client first in everything you doHonesty and commitment to maintain confidentiality at all timesGenuine willingness to work as a member of a teamRespect for and acceptance of different personality styles combined with a willingness to work with different people to achieve common outcomesProven self-starter capable of motivating and directing self and othersA keen interest in financial markets, investments and financial planningAbility to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environmentCommitment to maintaining excellence in technical competenceWillingness to grow and mentor the people around youAn innate desire to be challenged and to learn, grow and prosperWe provide A fun, professional, team based work environment with lots of peer supportCommitment to your ongoing professional developmentFlexibility and encouragement to lead a balanced life #J-18808-Ljbffr
