About the opportunity
The Australasian Interstitial Lung Disease Registry (AILDR) Senior Project Officer plays a pivotal role in managing and coordinating the implementation of AILDR project plans across multiple workstreams.
With a focus on maintaining high standards of data quality and accuracy, the Senior Project Officer also supports the strategic development and growth of the AILDR, contributing to its long-term success.
Acting as a key point of contact, the role involves liaising with diverse stakeholders, ensuring effective communication, and driving the achievement of project deliverables.

Working under broad supervision, the Senior Project Officer operates with a high level of autonomy, planning and prioritising tasks to meet organisational goals.
They provide specialist advice within their designated area, resolving routine issues and collaborating with senior staff to address more complex challenges.
This dynamic role is ideal for an experienced project manager passionate about working with health research data to support impactful health initiatives through robust coordination and expert guidance.

Your key responsibilities will be to :
Manage large datasets, ensuring data quality and accuracy through robust database management, including Redcap systems.

Provide expert project management support and strategic advice to plan and successfully implement AILDR projects.

Collaborate within cross-functional teams to develop and deliver comprehensive project plans aligned with AILDR objectives.

Coordinate logistical aspects of multiple AILDR projects, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with timelines.

Analyse data and generate detailed reports, implementing necessary adjustments to ensure progress and timely outcomes.

Maintain project governance processes, monitor performance, and collaborate on risk mitigation strategies.

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and engagement throughout project lifecycles.

About you
Hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or possess an equivalent combination of relevant training and experience.

Exhibit strong experience managing, analysing, and ensuring the quality and security of complex datasets, including proficiency in tools like RedCap, Microsoft Access, Excel, and SPSS.

Demonstrate significant project management expertise, with a proven ability to plan, organize, and deliver complex initiatives.

Show exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with and manage diverse internal and external stakeholders.

Possess excellent analytical, numeracy, and attention-to-detail skills, ensuring the integrity of data and accuracy of reports.

Excel in teamwork, demonstrating a collaborative mindset and a commitment to achieving shared goals.
