UC Physio is a well-established and highly respected family-run physiotherapy practice located in northern Gold Coast with two clinics, Upper Coomera Clinic which opened in 2015 and Pimpama in 2020. We see a variety of different presentations with each physiotherapist having their own niche. The paediatric caseload is diverse, including conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Global Development Delay, and many others. We offer a range of services such as manual therapy, clinical pilates, aquatic physiotherapy, and assistive technology prescription.
Qualifications & Experience Physiotherapy DegreeExperience or desire to focus career on paediatric (0-18) clientsAHPRA RegisteredFunding experience (e.g., NDIS, Medicare, Private, Third Party)Show initiative to develop client load and find a niche within the paediatric caseloadDriver's licence with own carTasks & Responsibilities Paediatric assessments and treatments including diagnosis-specific, standardised outcome measuresReport writing to third parties including NDIS, specialists, and schools/kindergartensRepresenting UC Physio during visits to GP clinics, sporting clubs, and equipment trialsSession planningFunding for these ranges from NDIS, Third Party, TCA, and privateAquatic PhysiotherapyCommunity visits such as home, kindergarten, school, and sportsAssistive technology (equipment) prescription such as walkers, standers, strollers, wheelchairs, crutches, bikes, orthosisWorking collaboratively with team members, specialists, and other allied health professionalsMonday and Saturday availability is a mustProfessional development allowanceWeekly team professional developmentLeave loadingFamily-friendly practiceApplications This role may commence immediately or in February 2025, depending on the applicant.
