As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service while driving growth in our business.
We are looking for a candidate that is either currently working as a chef or has worked somewhere within the hospitality industry. If you are looking for a new challenge away from the realm of working split shifts and weekends, and you want to work in a business with real opportunities for career progression and both personal and professional development, then this role is for you.
We are looking for a warm and natural connector that can comfortably build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders. You should have a customer-centric focus, with a commitment to excellence in adversity. You should possess an enthusiastic nature that will push you ahead of the crowd, as will your keen interest in developing and influencing your team. The ideal candidate will be someone who is an engaging self-starter, a culture-driver and someone who can work readily across competing priorities. We are looking for a winner's mindset, someone who is organised and methodical, and who understands the financial levers for success.
Skills & Experience: Customer service experience in hospitality, retail, or similar industry.Be confident and comfortable with making cold calls and site drops to new clients.Ability to work autonomously through making sales calls and visits.Strong technological skills with computer systems, emails and excel.Understand hospitality client needs, wants and requirements.Have a passion for food and forging meaningful relationships.Sound understanding of profitability & margins.Work with A-Grade former chefs at Moco's Head Office who have extensive knowledge of the industry.Competitive total salary package and company work vehicle and fuel card.Quarterly in-house development for training and to keep you up-to-date on industry knowledge.Access to great discounts on over 6,500 product items for current employees.Highly advantageous commission structure.Moco Food Services delivers first-in-class food supply services, a partner for restaurants, cafés, pubs and clubs throughout South East Queensland.
