Social Media Advisor CSIRO Social Media AdvisorThe OpportunityFull time Ongoing Opportunity| |Flexible Hybrid Working Environment Utilise your passion to collaborate, design and influence through social media Join a fun team of dedicated science communicators and digital storytellers As Social Media Advisor, you will work as part of the Editorial and Content team to plan and implement the delivery of engaging CSIRO stories across a range of social media and digital channels including our website, blog, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram.p>As a digital specialist, you will have a passion for creating compelling content and delivering it across a range of online channels.ou will understand creative and data-driven content, audience needs, have a strong news sense and a keen eye for good imagery and design.p>Your duties will includeCollaborate with communicators to create engaging and effective content for digital platforms csiro.Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, blogs and YouTube to support delivery of the Corporate Affairs strategy Monitor and moderate social media conversation, understanding the risks and opportunities inherent in two-way community engagement and refer issues to managers where appropriate Use a diversity of faces and stories to share CSIRO?s work Analyse metrics and make recommendations based on audience and key growth areas Provide training and advice on digital and social media use across the Corporate Affairs function and to broader groups where relevant Support development of content strategy execution plans through digital and social channels Research, write and edit content including blog posts, social media posts, video scripts, and web copyMelbourne Preferred.anberra,orbe considered.br>Salary$87k - $98k plus up to 15. superannuationTenureIndefinite Reference86840To be considered you will needA relevant tertiary qualification in Communication, PR or Digital/Social.r> Relevant demonstrated ability to communicate science stories in a social or new media environment.r> Demonstrated creative and strategic thinking as well as a flexible, adaptive and responsive approach in the ever-changing media environment.r> Experience in data analytics, audience measurement and research.r> High level written and oral communication skills and the ability to adapt to relevant medium and audience.r> The ability to build and maintain excellent collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders that help to achieve positive outcomes.r>For full details about this role please review the Position DescriptionEligibility for this position are open to Australian Citizens, New Zealand Citizens and Australian Residents only.p>Appointment to this role is subject to provision of a national police check and be subject to other security/medical/character requirements.p>Flexible Working ArrangementsWe work flexibly at CSIRO, offering a range of options forsho w, when and where you work./p> no -- Principals only.
