Environmental, Earth & Geosciences (Science & Technology)Engeny is seeking an Environmental Consultant with 2 - 3 years' experience to become part of our Queensland team and work on challenging and rewarding projects in the resources, urban development and infrastructure space.About the roleIn this role, you will:Support environmental assessments, approvals and compliance deliverables to various clients and industries for both green field and brown field projects.Provide GIS support for projects and other disciplines.Have potential for adhoc field work opportunities, environmental sampling and inspections.Support quality project outcomes for clients that are on budget and aligned with schedule.Prepare project proposals that drive innovative, practical and sustainable outcomes for clients.Develop project management skills including client communication, budgeting and time management.Play an active role in the wider team through regular meetings, workshops, training and business planning.About YouYou are looking to be a part of and contribute to the growth and development of the Environmental Management and Approvals Discipline.A tertiary engineering or science degree (essential) with 2 + years relevant experience in a similar role within industry, consulting or government.Technical skills in QGIS/ArcGIS is strongly desirable.Demonstrated knowledge of Commonwealth and State environmental legislation and policy.Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) and attentional to detail.A willingness to be involved in broad range of strategic projects.About UsEngeny is a growing employee-owned engineering and environmental consultancy with locations across Australia.
