Join a Global Leader in Real Estate – Winner Agency of the Year Drive the Facilities Management business across a national portfolio Melbourne | Land of the Wurundjeri people We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Director to lead our Facilities Management team across a national portfolio of CBD office buildings for a key global client.
As the Technical Director, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations and improvement services to optimise building and plant reliability, tenant satisfaction, sustainability, and asset lifecycle.
Reporting to the Portfolio Director, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing industry best practice facilities management services across the portfolio.
Here's a snapshot of your responsibilities: Identify, develop and deliver the technical direction and opportunities for improvement within each asset and across the portfolio.Implement engineering and operational strategies, policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation of the properties and deliver leading edge service delivery solutions.Lead and develop a diverse team of Facilities Management professionals, ensuring consistent service delivery across the portfolio.Oversee the preparation and implementation of annual operating and capital expense budgets for the portfolio including the delivery of all projects in accordance with approved project parameters.Here are some of the strengths you'll possess and the background you'll need to be successful: Extensive industry experience with relevant tertiary qualification in property/engineering/trade.Strong leadership skills with an ability to influence a high performing culture.Demonstrated track record in the delivery of complex projects.Ability to operate independently, analytically and with forethought.Superior knowledge in best practice Operational and Facilities Management, including ESG and awareness of emerging trends in building technology.Sound working knowledge of essential safety measures, hard and soft service categories and relevant legislation.Experience in contract tendering, negotiation, documentation and contractor management in a commercial building environment.Confidence and maturity in communication skills, including excellent written and oral presentation skills.Can we inspire you to join us?
