Home Job Info Teaching Role Description/Criteria An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic mathematics leader to join the learning community of St Francis de Sales Primary School, Oak Park.

We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and innovative leader to join our learning community as a maths leader and numeracy intervention/extension specialist beginning in the 2025 school year.
This position would be suitable to a leader who is passionate about designing engaging learning opportunities that support students and to experience success in the area of mathematics.
There is also the possibility of a full-time role for an interested.
Please note that an appointment will be made before the 6th December if the school deems there is a suitable applicant.
The successful applicant will have: a strong commitment to Catholic Education and Catholic Identity a willingness to be involved in the school and Parish Community accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or a willingness to seek accreditation exemplary learning and teaching skills with the capacity and desire to share this knowledge in a professional, collaborative and collegial way strong interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to continue to build strong relationships with students, staff, parents and our Parish community exemplary curriculum knowledge experience in designing suitable and engaging numeracy intervention programs a commitment to working collaboratively as part of a team a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development a strong understanding of contemporary learning and the Victorian Curriculum relevant qualifications and abilities to teach at all levels Commitment to Child Safety: St. Francis de Sales strives to maintain a child-safe environment where each child feels safe and free to enjoy the day to the fullest without any concern for their safety.

Special Requirements All applicants must: have and maintain ongoing registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching be accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school provide the contact details of three referees.
