The Midland Station (Cale Street) Project is being delivered by Midland Junction Alliance (MJA) comprising of Public Transport Authority of Western Australia (PTA), MCD, Georgiou Group Pty Limited, BG&E and Arcadis.
The project involves the design and construction of a new Midland Train station and associated rail infrastructure. After more than 50 years, the Midland Station will have a new home bringing it closer to the heart of the Midland Town Centre. The new station location will improve connections to Midland Gate Shopping Centre and Midland Health Campus, while maintaining the railway's central role to enhance work opportunities and community life in the area.
Your Opportunity
McConnell Dowell Constructors (Aust.) Pty Ltd are currently recruiting for a Test and Commissioning Lead – Building Services to join our team to work on an exciting rail project in the Midland area as part of work delivering and commissioning new facilities and infrastructure for the community.
The Role Develop and implement testing and commissioning and decommissioning plans for Building Systems, ensuring compliance with SWTC, safety standards and regulations.Deliver all commissioning, testing and operational readiness pre-requisites to successfully handover a Building system to the Client.Accountable for overall management of the commissioning including interdisciplinary coordination to ensure the safe and timely completion of all the commissioning activities.Lead a team of contractors testing and commissioning Engineers, technicians to execute the testing and commissioning plan.Responsible for development of detailed commissioning schedule including the required personnel's competencies, quantity of personnel and time frames that are required for specific commissioning stages.Accountable for providing completed dossiers as documented evidence for each milestone or phase of the Test and Commissioning process.Other duties as required by the Commissioning Manager.Role Requirements Degree in electrical/electronic engineering or a related field.At least 10 years of experience in Building System testing and commissioning.Understanding of safety regulations and standards related to Building Systems.CPEng Engineer's Australia – Desirable.Project Management Certification - Desirable.Familiarity with PTA Processes.About Us McConnell Dowell – Creative Construction
