Coordinator - Upper Mount Gravatt

We are currently recruiting for a Coordinator on a full-time basis, 38 hours per week to join our team at YMCA Upper Mount Gravatt Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service.
About the role In this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service and the management of a team of Educators.
You will receive support from a dedicated management team, consisting of your fellow Coordinators, Senior Coordinator, Area Coordinator, Regional Manager and the OSHC Manager.
As the OSHC Coordinator you will be responsible for: The development of quality programsManage the day-to-day running of the programsCoordinate staffing and rosteringEnsure compliance with policyUndertake administrative requirementsWork collaboratively with families and the school communityAs the OSHC Coordinator, you should have: Completed (or close to completing) a relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (minimum - Diploma of Children's Services)Sound experience in assisting with programming and a passion for providing quality childcareExcellent customer service skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA valid First Aid and CPR certifications, or the willingness to obtain themA current Blue Card, or the willingness to obtain oneAbout the team YMCA Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) services care for children before school, after school and during holidays across 50+ school sites throughout South East Queensland.

Our service offers a range of expansive indoor and outdoor spaces that give students and staff members ample opportunity to interact.
We offer Before School Care, After School Care, and Vacation Care for up to 105 children between the hours of 6:30 am and 6:00 pm.
