Director of Nursing and Midwifery, Professional Capability and GovernanceThe Metro South Health Executive Director Nursing and Midwifery Division is looking for a Director of Nursing and Midwifery, Professional Capability and Governance to join their team.
The Metro South Health (MSH) Executive Director Nursing and Midwifery (EDNM) Division provides overarching governance, leadership, strategic support and guidance for the Nursing and Midwifery professions across the health service.
The EDNM Division is responsible for creating and delivering the MSH Nursing and Midwifery Strategy and associated Workforce, Education and Research priorities in alignment with the MSH Strategic Plan.
We are the major public healthcare provider for Brisbane's south side, Logan, Redlands and the Scenic Rim.

About the Role The Director of Nursing and Midwifery (DONM), Professional Capability and Governance provides high-level contemporary strategic, operational and professional nursing and midwifery leadership and management for the MSH EDNM Division.The role provides high-level strategic, policy, and operational leadership to the MSH EDNM Division, guiding the direction of programs and projects, aligning key strategic initiatives, and driving the achievement of performance outcomes.The DONM leads performance improvement efforts and upholds the highest standards of clinical and corporate governance.Our values of Integrity, Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Engagement and Excellence, shape our culture within Metro South Health.
