About The OpportunityProgrammed Facility Management (PFM) is seeking a Safety Coordinator to ensure safety service excellence for facility management services for a large-scale social housing contract.
This role involves effectively managing and monitoring subcontractor WHS performance to guarantee the safe and timely completion of all required tasks, meeting both Programmed Facility Management (PFM) and client quality standards.
This permanent, full-time role based in Dubbo NSW, plays a crucial part in cultivating our 'Zero Harm' culture and contributing to important services for the community.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure employees and subcontractors possess necessary skills and knowledge for equipment operation.Assess OH&S resources and requirements before work commencement.Champion implementation of Programmed's HSEQ and Risk Management policies.Promote and develop a safety culture across the business.Ensure timely completion of compliance-based requirements.Audit completed works to meet client Quality Standards.Ensure adherence to ITPs and industry standards.Provide guidance on safety methodologies and conduct on-site audits.BenefitsAttractive salary packageFlexibility to achieve work/life balance.Paid parental leave, EAP, and benefits program with great discounts.Long-term career potential & growth with leading FM organization.About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have experience in a safety-focused role for facility management, building maintenance services, or a similar industry.
A background in OH&S and experience auditing and worker's compensation is essential.
You will have a 'can do' attitude, a natural ability for people engagement, and a passion for excellent service delivery.
Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following:
