This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop expertise within a dynamic and progressive organization focused on Financial Lines products in the Pacific region.
In this role, you'll play a key part in driving our goals for profitability, growth, service excellence, and strong producer relationships.
As an Underwriter, you'll leverage your analytical skills and knowledge in financial lines to assess risks and make informed underwriting decisions that align with our strategic objectives.
Your keen eye for detail, ability to analyze complex data, and enthusiasm for exploring market trends will help us expand and succeed in this competitive landscape.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and brokers will be essential, as you'll work closely with them to understand their needs and deliver customized solutions.
This role also encourages innovative thinking—your fresh ideas and strategic insights will support continuous improvements to our underwriting processes and market positioning.
Working collaboratively with team members, you'll contribute to a high-performing and supportive environment while also advancing your professional growth and expertise in financial lines underwriting.

Key Skills & Competencies Financial Underwriting Expertise: Ideally, experience or a strong interest in financial lines underwriting, paired with solid technical knowledge of the Australian financial lines market.Market Insight: Stay up-to-date on industry developments, competitor activities, and product advancements.Relationship Building: Proven skills in fostering and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external partners, particularly brokers and clients.Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work closely with team members and contribute positively to the overall team culture.Strategic Analysis: Capacity to identify opportunities and mitigate risks through thoughtful analysis of industry trends.Negotiation & Communication: Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms while effectively communicating insights and recommendations.Risk Awareness: Comfortable making calculated decisions with a focus on achieving advantageous outcomes.Regulatory Compliance: Commitment to meeting all regulatory requirements and internal standards, maintaining a high level of compliance throughout underwriting activities.Our Culture
