Experienced Soil Technician required ASAP
Fuse Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Soil Technician for a leading Engineering consultancy specialising in the fields of geotechnics, environment and groundwater.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable trainee and experienced Soil Technician to work in our Gold Coast Laboratory.
The position is full time and consist of hands-on testing, analytical assessment on data and the preparation of test reports.
What the role is You will work closely with our Laboratory Manager and senior staff and will be trained to perform soil and concrete testing in accordance with relevant national and state standards.

On the job training is available for applicants with no prior experience.
About you The successful candidates will possess: A high level of initiative, flexibility and enthusiasm and be a team player; Excellent communication skills, motivation and commitment to deliver work to the highest standard; Hold a current Australian driver's licence; Hold a White Card and Nuclear Gauge- highly regarded, however, can be organised once employed.
Any previous experience in concrete and soils laboratories or the constructionindustry, while not necessary would be beneficial.
School leavers are encouraged to apply.
New team members will collaborate closely with the Laboratory Manager and senior staff, receiving thorough training to perform tests in compliance with national and state standards.
