Operational Services Officer (Nurse Led Walk in Clinic)Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service – Gladstone QLDThe Nurse-Led Walk in Clinic will provide assessment, treatment and advice to adults and children (aged over 2 years) for non-life-threatening injuries and illness, as well as trauma-informed, women-focused services, 7 days a week from 8am to 10pm.The service model aims to improve long-term health outcomes and improved access to care in the community, reducing demand on hospitals. Services will be provided free of charge.About the role:Cleaning duties include (but are not limited to): light and heavy cleaning tasks, high and low cleaning including walls, windows, ceilings, furniture and fittings and dusting, vacuuming, scrubbing, polishing, and sweeping.Maintain high standards in all work practices and procedures by following routine procedures and established techniques to complete tasks as directed.Teamwork is very important, and you need to have the ability to work cooperatively with your work colleagues across the facility to achieve desired goals.About you:Non-mandatory qualifications/requirements: While not mandatory, a relevant qualification in the provision of Health Support Services would be well regarded.Demonstrated knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge in equipment, products, standards, policies, and procedures related to Operational Services.Ability to carry out duties with a minimum of supervision, to set realistic work priorities, have good organisational skills and to meet deadlines.What we offer:Salary information:Total remuneration value of up to $55,564 p.a. is comprised of:An hourly rate between $31.24 - $33.33 p.h.12.75% employer superannuation contribution17.5% leave loadingOther benefits include:Professional Development OpportunitiesEducation Opportunities – Study and ResearchWork-Life Balance, Variety and FlexibilityGenerous Salary SacrificingPaid Parental LeaveEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Discounted Private Health InsuranceFitness PassportVaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) requirements:It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against vaccine preventable diseases as listed on the Role Description.How to apply:To submit your application / expression of interest, please include:Your current CV or resume, including referees.A short 1 to 2 page cover letter outlining how your experience, abilities and knowledge align with the organisational values, accountabilities and "How you will be Assessed" section of the Role Description.Include any additional forms / evidence as attached or listed on the Role Description.Please note pre-employment checks will be carried out on applicants recommended for appointment/employment which may include confirming your qualifications, professional registration/s, previous employment history (including any previous disciplinary action), criminal history, Australian work status and vaccination requirements.Applications close: Tuesday, 5 November 2024.
