About The Opportunity Programmed Facility Management is seeking a Safety Coordinator to join our team delivering facility management services for a large-scale social housing contract.
This role involves effectively managing and monitoring subcontractor WHS performance to guarantee the safe and timely completion of all required tasks, meeting both the business and client quality standards.
This permanent, full-time role based in Orange OR Dubbo, plays a crucial part in cultivating our 'Zero Harm' culture and contributing to important services for the community.
Nature of the Position : Type : Permanent, Full TimeLocation : Orange OR DubboReporting Line : HSEQ & Compliance ManagerBenefits Attractive salary package + vehicleFlexibility to achieve work / life balancePaid parental leave, EAP and benefits program with great discountsLong term career potential & growth with leading FM organisationKey Responsibilities Ensure employees and subcontractors possess necessary skills and knowledge for equipment operation.Assess OH&S resources and requirements before work commencement.Champion implementation of Programmed's HSEQ and Risk Management policies.Promote and develop a safety culture across the business.Ensure timely completion of compliance-based requirements.Audit completed works to meet client Quality Standards.Ensure adherence to ITPs and industry standards.Provide guidance on safety methodologies and conduct on-site audits.About You To be successful, you will have experience in a safety-focused role in facility management, building maintenance services or a similar industry.
A background in OH&S and experience auditing and worker's compensation is preferred.
You will have a 'can do' attitude, a natural ability for people engagement, and a passion for excellent service delivery.
Additionally, you will demonstrate and possess the following :
