As a Principal Engineer for Gen AI, you utilize advanced technical expertise of engineering principles and practices in Gen AI platform to achieve business outcomes.
You provide core technology and domain expertise to support technical strategy of the crew and lead the solution design of complex challenges within Gen AI.

As an experienced Principal Engineer who acts as thought & technology leader, responsible for providing technical strategy and guidance, overseeing engineering projects of all kinds including AWS, Cloud Adoption, Migration Modernisation, end to end application design, and understanding at enterprise level with proven expertise in Gen AI platform engineering and a passion for providing AI-driven solutions, you're ahead of trends and work at the forefront of AI.
Evangelist, leader and champion of strategic practice development across the Gen AI domain.Leader amongst engineers with respected technical views.
Lead and direct multiple teams on complex troubleshooting activity.
Play a mentoring role in providing design and technical assistance to other members of the team.Utilises an outstanding competency in core business and technical strategies across platforms to deliver best business outcomes.Build Gen AI capability among engineers including but not limited to Knowledge Engineering/prompt engineering/platform engineering.Knowledge Engineering: identifying and gathering relevant domain specific knowledge from various sources and structuring it in a structured way for LLM model to understand and utilize.Platform engineering: Collaborate with other teams to integrate AI solutions into existing workflows and systems to get the platform running and available.
They configure and manage the underlying infrastructure that supports the platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and high availability.Staying up to date on advancements: The field of generative AI is constantly evolving, so staying informed about the latest research and developments, latest releases on different models and their performances are crucial.Ability to develop, suggest best practices of designing infrastructures that support fine-tuning of models to improve performance and efficiency, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during development or deployment.Creating and maintaining documentation: Ensure clear and comprehensive documentation of AI / LLM.Analyse systems and applications and provide recommendations for design, enhancement and development, and play an active part in their execution.Excellent understanding of the infrastructure that runs .NET applications - IIS, Web Servers, Kestrel, Containers, etc.Have experience in CI/CD pipelines with integrated automated testing and governance.Are passionate about DevOps/Automation and have a powerful desire to solve complex problems in a systematic approach - e.g using PowerShell.Constantly think creatively and breaking boundaries to solve complex technical problems.Work well in teams and have strong collaboration skills in driving continuous improvement initiatives.Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and best practices.Take ownership of issues and follow through with end-to-end resolution of issues.Work with various application teams to ensure the stability and security of the cloud platform.We're interested in hearing from people who Enjoy hands-on engineering work.Proven experience in system design and architecture.Have a passion for designing, developing and deploying high quality software solutions and Systems design.Have excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills.Have experience in leading a team.Excellent understanding of the infrastructure that runs .NET applications - IIS, Web Servers, Kestrel, Containers, etc.Have experience in CI/CD pipelines with integrated automated testing and governance.Are passionate about DevOps/Automation and have a powerful desire to solve complex problems in a systematic approach - e.g using PowerShell.Constantly think creatively and breaking boundaries to solve complex technical problems.Work well in teams and have strong collaboration skills in driving continuous improvement initiatives.Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals and best practices.Take ownership of issues and follow through with end-to-end resolution of issues.Work with various application teams to ensure the stability and security of the cloud platform.Have natural drive to educate, communicate and positively influence various stakeholder groups.Willingness to continuously learn new tools and technologies.Have ability to think outside the box and break boundaries to solve complex problems.Driving automation through understanding processes and implementing improvements.Good understanding of networking and network protocol will be advantageous.Strong presentation, verbal communication, and written communications skills.Hands-on skills with scripting.Experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices with specific focus on the following concepts: source control, CI/CD, automated testing, logging and monitoring.Knowledge on cloud especially AWS is a must.Have a great understanding of software delivery practices and lifecycles in Agile methodologies.Tech skills

Demonstrate strong experience developing applications using MS technologies - C# and .NET / .NetCore.Demonstrate strong experience in scripting languages such as Powershell or Shell.Excellent debugging skills with ability to solve complex technical issues in .NET.Experience operating and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines.Hold strong technical coding standards and contribute extensively to code reviews.Lead design discussions in developing robust systems.Experience with Infrastructure as code and automating manual tasks.Mentoring and coaching capabilities, able to influence practices and mindsets in the crew.Develop, lead, and deploy CI/CD strategies.CI/CD tooling such as GitHub, TeamCity, Artifactory, Octopus Deploy.Logging & monitoring: CloudWatch, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana and Prometheus knowledge are desirable.Have a fair understanding of networking, preferably on Cloud.Working for us
