Thompson Brushes is a long-established, family-owned manufacturing company based in Port Macquarie, and we are looking for a reliable and versatile Production Co-ordinator/Leading Hand to join our close-knit team.

The Role:As the Production Co-ordinator/Leading Hand, you will be responsible for overseeing and contributing to day-to-day production operations.
This will involve ensuring that processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently, while leading a talented production team.
You will also work closely with our office staff to ensure the highest standards of quality and timely completion of all tasks.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the production team, ensuring efficient scheduling and workflow.Meet production deadlines and maintain plant throughput.Contribute to process improvement initiatives and the development of operational efficiencies.Mentor and develop a skilled team, fostering a positive and collaborative culture.Oversee procurement and material management to ensure adequate stock levels.Maintain strong attention to detail and ensure quality standards are met.Contribute to reporting and help drive operational efficiency across the business.Work autonomously and take initiative in developing new procedures and processes.Be part of a progressive company with a strong pipeline of work extending through 2025.Essential Requirements: A valid driver's license.At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in manufacturing.Proven experience managing a manufacturing facility or production line.The right to work in Australia.Why Join Us?
