Job DescriptionPullman Sydney Hyde Park is thrilled to introduce a new position, and we are actively seeking a highly motivated and results-orientated Conference & Events Sales Manager to join our dynamic team.
The chosen candidate will play a pivotal role in optimising revenue while overseeing the Conference & Events team.
If you're ambitious and prepared for a challenging yet rewarding role, we encourage you to apply and become an integral member of our vibrant team.ResponsibilitiesDevelopment of the conference & events sales team.Drive revenue strategies to achieve targets.Development of new business opportunities.Proactive approach to seeking and hunting out new business opportunities.QualificationsTo thrive in this role, you will demonstrate the ability to excel within a busy operation and be able to multitask with a warm friendly approach.
You will be a self-motivator, with a sales-driven attitude and a passion for developing and nurturing win-win relationships with all stakeholders.
Enthusiasm for selling is key, as is the crucial skill of leading a small team.
You will ideally have knowledge of Delphi and Res Diary (not essential).Your success will be underpinned by excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong time management, a professional telephone manner, a high standard of personal presentation and, above all, your commitment to delivering exemplary and consistent service to clients.
You will excel in the intricacies of events and are adept at seamlessly navigating multifaceted aspects of events planning and delivery.
