We drive change as an opportunity for us to innovate and transform our business and to achieve beyond what we think is possible.Operating a 4 x 10-hour day roster in the Burleigh Heads Bakery, there are a variety of work patterns, with shift penalties, weekend rates and overtime opportunities enhancing the weekly earning potential.About the opportunity:We are currently looking for entry level or experienced Process Operators/Intermediate and Qualified Bakers to join our Gold Coast, Burleigh Heads site. The Process Operator/Baker will be required to ensure production targets are met, ensure all compliance procedures are followed, and to ensure all health and safety processes are followed while carrying out a variety of tasks in the processing areas.Opportunities currently exist for:Afternoon/Evening shifts, total 38 hours per weekYou will be responsible for:Full compliance with company rulesOperations of machinery and equipment as per safe operating proceduresEffectively moving between departments to assistAchieving OEE and Waste on targetActive involvement in, and attendance at departmental meetingsCompleting Quality Assurance and Food Safety Induction and Competency quality assessment. Attending all relevant training programsEnsuring all Food Safety and Quality incidents are accurately reported and recorded within specified time framesExecuting startup procedures and machine/equipment setups, operational processes, and cleaning processes correctlyEnsuring personal hygiene and uniform company policies, site minimum expectations, and standards are strictly adhered toTo be successful in this role you will need to:Effective oral and written communicationGood Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Health and Safety awarenessQuality awarenessPrevious food industry experience or machine operation/process work is desirableWhat can we offer you?With sites spanning across the Australasian region, working as part of a highly driven team at Goodman Fielder, you can expect to work with leading technologies producing a variety of the most reputable brands in Australia.
