YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE Applications are being sought for our August 2025 – August 2026 Radiology Fellow cohort.
We are seeking a range of experience and skillsets to join the team and will give consideration to a mix of part-time and full-time applications.
Applicants are encouraged to provide a covering letter and resume outlining relevant key skills and experience to assist with our assessment.
Candidates must be eligible for registration with AHPRA and have full work rights.

Position SummaryTo develop in-depth experience in specialist oncological imaging in Diagnostic Radiology.
Perform image-guided procedures.

Key RelationshipsInternal ResearchersReferrersExternalFamiliesReferrersEducation Skills Medical Registration with AHPRASuccessful completion of Part 2 FRANZCR exams.Satisfactory completion of four years of training towards the Fellowship of the RANZCR (Diagnostic Radiology) in a recognized training program, or equivalent.Ability to communicate effectively with patients, relatives of patients, referring practitioners, and other members in the community.Five years of radiology training as defined by RANZCRCertifications, Licenses & RegistrationsAHPRA Registration
Key Accountabilities1.
Perform image-guided procedures and report diagnostic studies Understand protocols as applicable to Oncology.Produce clinical reports according to Department targets of accuracy and timeliness.Liaise with clinicians to promote multi-disciplinary principles of practice and high standards of patient-centred care.Diagnostic reporting of CT and MR under direct consultant supervision.
Time to be shared with approximately six months in each modality.2.
Radiation Safety and QAUnderstand Department QA activities and their relevance to staff and patient safety.Perform all activities with adequate radiation safety standards.Advise patients and carers regarding safety precautions.Advise referrers regarding the safety of procedures in both standard and unusual scenarios.3.
Clinical MeetingsPrepare and interpret Radiology images for presentation at clinical meetings.Provide advice regarding available alternative imaging options.Peter Mac requires its staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
