Regis is a purely Australian gold miner with significant operations plus a joint venture in Western Australia and a key development project in New South Wales.

The current mine site locations are in the Northeastern Goldfields of WA, with multiple mining operations both open pit and underground.

The Opportunity We are seeking a Senior Underground Mine Geologist to join a high performing team at our Duketon operations.
Reporting to the UG Geology Superintendent, you will provide high level technical advice, planning and methodology of all aspects of the mine site underground mining operations.
You will also mentor and actively supervise less experienced members of the UG Geology team.
This is a FIFO role, working on an 8:6 roster.
About the Role Develop and maintain grade control databases and block modelsSupervision of Geologists and Sampling crews in data collection, collation, analysis and interpretationReport on geological activities to the UG Geology SuperintendentCompile end of month reports, key statistics and reconciliation dataManage geological related projectsAssist in development of budgets and forecasts relating to geological requirementsAssist in the mine forecasting and scheduling processFulfil the UG Geology Superintendent's duties in their absence.About You Formal tertiary qualification in GeologyDemonstrate at least 7 years' experience working in a similar role within a hard rock underground environmentWell-developed communication skills, both oral and writtenDemonstrate experience with report writing, database usage and mining geology softwareFamiliarity with costing systems, cost control and forecastsWork both autonomously and within a team environment.Why Regis Resources?
