Job Title: Breakfast Production Chef
Location: West Melbourne
Employment Type: 3 Months casual with the option to go Full-Time.
Night Shift
Hours : 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Sunday to Thursday
Salary : Based on experience and HIGA with additional loadings before 7 am
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Production Chef to join our dynamic team.
As the Breakfast Production Chef, you will play a crucial role in completing the breakfast production for our morning orders.
Working alongside a team of three talented individuals, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and timely preparation of our breakfast products.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast items according to established recipes and quality standards.
Coordinate with the team to ensure timely production and delivery of breakfast orders.
Maintain a clean and organised workstation, following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Assist in inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages.
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new breakfast menu items and improve existing recipes.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience working in a professional kitchen or culinary setting is essential.
Strong knowledge of breakfast food preparation techniques and recipes.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Possess a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering high-quality food.
Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential.
