12 + 12 + 12 month contract - January start$150 - $185 per hour (inc-Super) - market estimate / negotiableNV1 Security Clearance preferredCanberra address - Hybrid 2/3 WFHOur client, a large Federal Government Department, which enhances agriculture industries, forestry, trade, and biosecurity, is seeking the experience of a Cyber Security Senior Technical Specialist (Application Control & Hardening) for a long 12+12+12 month contract based in Canberra ACT.
Duties of the Cyber Security Senior Technical Specialist (Application Control & Hardening) Identifying gaps in application control and user application hardening relating to the Essential Eight.Implementing application control and user application hardening settings to meet the Essential Eight.Liaising with managed service providers, department staff, third-party vendors, and relevant business areas.Investigating and implementing improvements to uplift security configuration.Applying the Information Security Manual (ISM) and the Essential Eight mitigation strategies.Skills and Experience Required Demonstrated experience in Application Control and User hardening, specifically identifying gaps in application control and user application hardening relating to the Essential Eight.Demonstrated experience implementing application control and user application hardening settings to meet the Essential Eight.Demonstrated experience in Airlock Digital (desired).How to Apply Please forward your resume to Ben Cousins at Recruitment Hive by clicking the Apply button, or email your resume to citing Job ID: BC10232.
