Air Conditioning & Electrical Project / Construction Manager Millair Climate Control & Electrical Northern Territory Pty Ltd T/as Johnny Cool Darwin is seeking an experienced professional to lead projects, manage timelines, and uphold high standards in quality, safety, and cost management.

Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Coordination : Lead planning and scheduling efforts across HVAC and electrical projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Estimation : Develop and prepare cost estimates, scopes of work, and budgets.
Analyse project specs, interpret drawings, and prepare competitive bids for HVAC and electrical installations.
Team Leadership : Supervise site teams, including technicians and subcontractors, ensuring productivity and troubleshooting on-site challenges.
Client & Stakeholder Management : Build strong client relationships, handle inquiries, and provide regular project updates.
Budget Management : Track project budgets, manage costs, and oversee all procurement activities.
Compliance & Safety : Implement and monitor safety protocols, ensuring full compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
Quality Assurance : Ensure quality control across projects, conduct inspections, and promptly address any issues.
Reporting : Maintain accurate documentation for project progress, cost tracking, invoicing, and compliance records.
Skills & Experience
Essential : Trade experience in HVAC or Electrical.
Proven experience in project or construction management, including cost estimation in HVAC or electrical projects.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, able to liaise confidently with clients, team members, and suppliers.
Proficiency in project management and estimation software; experience with Xero and Simpro is a significant advantage.
Commitment to safety, with experience in managing health and safety requirements on site.
