Job Title: Neurological Nurse - Accommodation SpecialistWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Neurological Nurse to join our team at MSWA's City Beach respite.
As a Neurological Nurse - Accommodation Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and services to our clients living with neurological conditions.
Key Responsibilities:Client Assessment and Monitoring: Conduct thorough assessments and regular monitoring of our residents to ensure their needs are met and any changes are addressed promptly.Care Coordination: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that cater to the diverse needs of our clients.Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of residents' medical histories, treatment plans, and progress, submitting reports as required.Deliver Clinical Care: Provide wound and continence management, medication management and administration, and other clinical care services as needed.Support and Advocacy: Advocate for residents' rights to autonomy, dignity, and respect, providing emotional support and ensuring a compassionate care environment.Providing supervision, advice, and support: Ensure our team of Care Supports Workers (CSWs) are supported and equipped to provide high-quality care.Requirements:Current AHPRA registration as an EN or RN.A basic understanding of neurological conditions.NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).Current First Aid and CPR (we can help you there if not).Current 'A' Class Driver's licence.Working with Children Check.Benefits:Generous salary packaging options to all our employees.Current up to $18,500 can be packaged to cover things like living expenses, mortgage payments, or car leasing – this means you pay less tax on your income.Generous leave policies, discounts on major retailers, and an opportunity to do challenging and rewarding work every day.We are a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to empowering Western Australians living with neurological conditions to live their best life.
