Impairment Benefits Specialist

Job Description:About the role
The Impairment Benefits Specialist is to manage the end-to-end impairment determination process for injured workers in accordance with legislative requirements.To be successful in this role you will have:Problem Solving and Decision Making – strong analytical and reasoning skillsNegotiation & InfluencingCommunication skills – both verbal and writtenWork Management – organisational and time management skillsCustomer ServiceRequired ExpertiseComprehensive training program AMA4 run by Work Safe Victoria.At least two years' claims management experience or equivalent preferred.Experience in dealing with the legal profession.Extensive knowledge of medical, paramedical terminology and procedures, including the forms of treatment applicable to injury.Management of hearing device claims.Hybrid working arrangementsIn alignment with our commitment to fostering a flexible and dynamic work environment, we have adopted a hybrid working approach that acknowledges the importance of in-person collaboration while recognising that the determination of your work location will be based on a range of factors to ensure both individual preferences and operational requirements are met.About DXCDXC provides policy and claims management services to government and organisations across Australia.
