The Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) is the leading provider of healthcare accreditation services and we are looking for an Assessor Support and Development Coordinator to join our Assessor Division.
The Assessor Division manages a large pool of assessors that represent ACHS to undertake accreditation assessments against a variety of health care standards.

The Assessor Support and Development Coordinator will work closely with the Director to support the assessor cohort (across ACHS and ACHSI).

The role interacts closely with assessors and other members of the Assessor and Customer Services Divisions providing assessment related guidance, resources and assistance.

The role includes training of assessors both formally and informally as well as mentoring assessors as required.
The role will primarily be focussed on providing assessors with support, advice and education.
You will be responsible for liaising with assessors (and other related departments in ACHS and ACHSI) to ensure ongoing engagement and development of assessors to provide ACHS customers with the highest possible standards of service delivery.
To be successful in this role you will need:
A qualification in a health-related discipline Recent experience as an approved assessor to National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (2nd edition)Experience with current Human Resources Management practices.Experience with providing training and development in healthcare.Experience working with critical timelines, being able to problem solve, prioritise and escalate as required.Ability to undertake data extraction, analysis and reporting (including written reports)Customer focused approach to service delivery Effective communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent planning, time management and organisational skillsAbility to work both independently and unsupervised, and as part of a team.
