The Opportunity : We are seeking skilled Piping Designers to be seconded to one of Kent's key clients in the energy industry, based in the Perth CBD.
In this role, you will be an integral part of a dynamic project engineering delivery team, supporting multiple brownfield projects throughout their planning and execution phases.
You will bring technical expertise and strong competency to a high-performing team, playing a crucial role in the successful delivery of complex engineering projects.
In this role, you will undertake the following duties : Responsible for the piping deliverables.Develop and maintain awareness of changes in the relevant technology and design tools to ensure Kent is applying best practice for high levels of efficiency and effectiveness.Liaise with the other members of the mechanical / piping team and other disciplines to ensure all design requirements are addressed.Liaise with clients engineering, construction and operations personnel to ensure all project requirements have been addressed.Design inputs to BoDs, Scopes of Work, Piping Specifications, Data Sheets and Material Requisitions.Site investigations for preparation and checking of work scopes.Development of 'best-practice' guidelines for the piping discipline team in the production of deliverables and inputs for the multidiscipline team members.We foster an environment where you are challenged professionally and empowered to take the lead on your career development with the support and guidance of our leaders.
