We are looking for a motivated individual to join our dynamic team as a Podiatrist at Port Lincoln Community Health.
Whether you are starting your career or have a wealth of experience, this role offers you the chance to provide vital health services across multiple communities in the Eyre & Far North Region.
As an AHP1 Podiatrist , you will work under the guidance of the Senior Podiatrist, supporting the delivery of integrated health services across various communities.
You'll be a part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, contributing to preventative care, early intervention, and treatment services.
As an AHP2 Podiatrist , you will apply your clinical expertise to plan and implement a wide range of services.
You will work independently, supporting less experienced professionals and students, and lead group programs, health promotion, and community development projects.
Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive podiatry services, including assessment, treatment, and prevention strategies.
Work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care.
Participate in community health promotion and education programs.
Provide clinical supervision and guidance to junior staff and students (AHP2 only).
Travel regularly across multiple communities as per rostered schedule.
Must hold a recognised qualification within the relevant allied health profession, and be eligible for full membership of the relevant Professional Association (Podiatry Board of Australia) Please note this position is multi-classed as AHP1 or AHP2 and classification will be determined by knowledge and experience.

We are one of the largest LHNs by area in Australia and communities include Ceduna, Cleve, Coober Pedy, Cowell, Cummins, Elliston, Kimba, Oodnadatta, Port Lincoln, Streaky Bay, Tumby Bay and Wudinna.
Services include acute care, medical, accident and emergency, surgery, birthing and midwifery, specialist consultancy, renal dialysis, chemotherapy, transfusions, rehabilitation, residential and community aged care, respite care, transitional care packages, Aboriginal health, mental health, allied health, community health, community nursing, palliative care, community home support packages and home modifications.
