Ready to work on one of Australia's largest logistics fleets?
We're looking for skilled Heavy Diesel Mechanics to join our team in Port Hedland.
If you enjoy tackling challenging mechanical issues, you'll have plenty of variety and complex problems to solve working on cutting-edge heavy diesel machinery, including American and European trucks and trailers.
You'll be working with experienced mechanics who share their knowledge, making this a great place to grow and improve.
Whether it's troubleshooting a complex issue or simply lending a hand, you'll have a strong team to back you up every step of the way.
In January 2025 , we will be relocating to a purpose-built new workshop in Port Hedland, designed specifically to support the service needs and requirements of our Toll fleet.
This state-of-the-art facility will provide dedicated mechanical and electrical services, ensuring that we can deliver optimal performance and maintenance for our fleet.
The new workshop offers a fresh, clean, and modern environment, with a focus on efficiency and functionality.
Located in a new lot with excellent amenities, the facility is designed to offer a comfortable and productive work environment for our team.
This relocation marks a significant step forward in our commitment to providing top-tier service and support for our operations.

What Does a Day as a Toll Diesel Mechanic Look Like?
Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on heavy diesel machinery, including American and European trucks and trailers Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems Ordering and replacing parts as needed Keeping accurate records of work performed and parts used Maintaining a safe and clean work environment Communicating effectively with supervisors and other team members What Toll has to Offer
Attractive Hourly Rate of $84.37 11.5 % Superannuation FIFO or Residential Opportunities on 2/1 Roster (7 days, 7 nights / 7 off) Return Flights ex Perth ONLY , Accommodation and all Meals provided Attractive $30k per annum Housing Allowance for Residential candidates subject to tax A brand-new, purpose-built workshop opening in early 2025

Australian or NZ recognised Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic Unrestricted Australian Working Rights Demonstrated experience working on heavy diesel machinery Experience working on Heavy Road Transport Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics Excellent problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Commitment to workplace safety Working at TollAt Toll, we're proud to be a leading integrated logistics provider in the Asia Pacific region.
