Occupational Health & Safety (Human Resources & Recruitment) Foresight Group Holdings Limited (Foresight ) is a leading listed infrastructure and private equity investment manager, listed on the London Stock Exchange.
It has a long-established focus on ESG and sustainability-led strategies.
In Australia, it owns and manages several renewable assets including wind farms, solar sites, hydro plants, and battery storage facilities.
These assets are supported by technicians at the sites plus a large team of professionals in the CBD offices including Asset Managers, Engineers, and corporate services staff.
This is a hands-on role which requires on-the-ground presence at sites to ensure the implementation of the Health, Safety, and Environmental framework and to champion the safety culture.
The HSE Advisor will assist the HSE Manager in developing, implementing, and monitoring Health, Safety, and environmental processes across the assets to achieve its HSE vision that we all go home from work without injury or illness.
Guided by the HSE Manager, the successful applicant will: Provide technical advice to staff on the ground Assist in developing, implementing, and reviewing safety procedures, policies, systems, and processes Maintain compliance of HSE training Conduct HSE inspections, interactions, audits, and implement corrective and preventative action Compile reports Maintain records & documentation We are looking for candidates with the following: 3-5 years' experience in a similar role Relevant degree or diploma in HSE Proven ability to build proactive, collaborative relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders Well-developed and technical writing skills Experience with Lucidity Safety Management software would be desirable but is not mandatory We are a friendly and flat organization that offers flexible working (in the CBD office 3 days per week).
Regular travel to remote sites is part of the role, so you need to be comfortable traveling for 2-3 consecutive days per month on average.
