In this permanent role within the Healthcare & Social Services sector, you will have the opportunity to work closely with patients, providing them with the knowledge and support they need to manage their condition effectively.
As a Diabetes Educator at Family Doctor, you will have a pivotal role in helping individuals navigate the challenges of diabetes and lead healthier, happier lives.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized diabetes management plans Empower patients by providing education on nutrition, exercise, and medication management Conduct group sessions and one-on-one consultations to support patients in achieving their health goals Preferred Requirements: Demonstrated experience in diabetes education or related healthcare field Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Experience in developing and delivering educational materials Understanding of cultural, social, and economic factors affecting diabetes management Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Dietetics, or related field Certification as a Diabetes Educator (CDE) highly preferred Current registration with relevant professional board or association Please reach out to ****** for a confidential discussion.
